Purpose & Mission
The Center for Living and Learning (CLL) is a private nonprofit residential supportive living facility for adults who have experienced severe and persistent mental illness(es). CLL's mission is to provide 24-hour residential care and job training in a restorative therapeutic environment using an individualized approach tailored to each resident's needs. The program includes educational and vocational training, job placement, independent living skills, socialization, nutrition, physical fitness, and emotional awareness.
CLL's vocational program gives residents the tools they need to succeed in an employment or volunteer setting at CLL and/or in the community, as well as coping skills to promote positive mental health in their everyday lives.
Products in CLL's online store have been handcrafted by CLL residents and 100% of proceeds go to support the vocational program. A portion of proceeds from products made by community parter vendors is also donated back to CLL.
